Some tips for beating panic attacks

mHonour yourself. Don’t let others rule your life. And it’s okay to say

   ‘NO’!

mBe kinder to yourself in everything you do. Don’t beat yourself up.

mChange negative into positive. Say, ‘I can do this’, not, ‘I can’t’.

mRecognise your strengths and utilise them fully.

mRecognise you are an okay person.

mThink future not past. What’s gone before doesn’t have to influence

    you now.

mRecognise how far you’ve come. Congratulate yourself with every step.

mRecognise where your problems come from and make change.

mIf you are angry about a person, it’s okay to confront them and tell

them how you feel. If this feels too much, write your feelings down

for now and approach the person when you feel stronger.

mRemember it’s okay to get angry, just don’t allow that anger to eat

    away at you.

p

mUse Rescue Remedy to calm the panics.

mConcentrate on your breathing, keep it calm and steady.

mRelax and chill out as often as you can. A busy mind creates panic, a

relaxed one gets more done and feels happy.

mPanic can be beaten. Put yourself in the frame of mind that you will

    overcome this.
